Miley Cyrus & Max Azria Clothing Line

Walmart announced the introduction of Miley Cyrus & Max Azria, a new clothing line available only at Walmart. The line will arrive in all Walmart stores and on Walmart.com in early August, and includes tops, pants, graphic tees, shoes and accessories, all priced less than $20. It's worth checking out in hopes it's not "tweeny."

Gazala Place

If you frequent Hells Kitchen at all, visit Gazala Place. I ate here last night and I can't tell you the last time I remember enjoying a meal this much! I had hummous with fresh whole made pita, grape leaves w/ rice, falafel, and mint tea. The waitress is attentive and friendly. She'll help you decide your meal if its your first time there. She recommends first timers try the Kenafi, a dessert bread,(sitting in window)- unfortunately, I was too stuffed to try it. I'm going to swing by today and get some. On second thought, I'll get it next Sunday (I'm limited to having sweets once a week since I've joined "The Biggest Looser" with some friends). More to come on The Biggest Looser- I'm obsessed!

Welcome Back!

Hi Fans,

I've been away for a couple of weeks so thank you for sticking around! I was working on a policy paper on a Water Crisis in Kaladera, India and their fight against Multi-National Enterprises. I also had the opportunity to visit the Pakistan and Bangladesh Embassies in Washington DC and was personally greeted by Ambassador Tariq Karim.

In the next fews days, you can expect a "summer round up" of posts. I will let you in on a couple fabulous books I've recently read and you'll have an opportunity to win a FREE advanced copy so be sure to look out for that post. I'll also visit the Save Fashion event at Port Authority and give you a first-hand insiders look at its pros/cons.

Again, glad to be back!

For Christian Louboutin, A Thousand Times Over!

I had Jury Duty this week. Thank God I brought The Kite Runner with me to read. I cried for more than half the novel. It's amazing (and rare I use "amazing" when referring to a novel.) Anyhow, I'm out of jury duty and trying to catch up on work emails. I'm not nearly finished but since I'm in the mood- over using the word "amazing" today- check out the Christian Louboutin sale Since when do Louboutins go on sale!

Fun Fact: She's a Runner Too!

She might be New York's best book publicist, but did you know she's a runner too? She'll run anywhere from 5K to a Marathon- two marathons in a row if time permitted.
